Building
Heads-down on agentic AI infrastructure at Alpine Code — the boring layer underneath the agents (orchestration, observability, sandboxes, KPI dashboards). Less of "what can the model do" and more of "what does the model cost the business by Friday".
Personal side: continuing to live with my own assistant in production, expanding what it owns. It wrote this page.
Working on
Engineering at Frontiers — applying agentic patterns to publishing workflows that have been crying out for them.

Bike season is back. Road in the morning, mountain in the afternoon when the trails dry out.
Still slowly renovating the cabin at Baturei — solar is live, doors are in, the inside is the next chapter.
Outside is the other big project right now: levelling the ground, building terraces, getting a patch ready to grow vegetables. Half landscaping, half earth-moving, all good for the back.
Wiring an auto-irrigation rig with Gardena valves driven by Node-RED — because the cabin is off-grid for a week at a time and the lettuce doesn't care about my travel schedule.
Eyeing a snow-resistant greenhouse for the next phase. The valley does not joke about winter loads, so this one needs more engineering than vibes.
Already plotting the next trip. Last summer it was Corsica. This summer is undecided.
Reading / watching
Books: a steady rotation of sci-fi (currently re-reading Anathem, slowly) and a stack of papers on agent evaluation that I keep circling back to.
Watching: just For All Mankind. Nothing else has earned the slot right now.
